- A strong understanding of user-centered design principles and design thinking methodologies.
- Experience translating business strategy and user research into consumer-facing digital products.
- Familiarity with the AI/ML development lifecycle and the needs of data scientists and ML engineers.
- Experience with modern design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma).
- At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management
- A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
Responsibilities
- Lead User Research: Cultivate a deep understanding of our key user personas (Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Analysts) and their 'jobs-to-be-done' through interviews, surveys, and usability testing.
- Define the User Journey: Map current and future-state user journeys across the entire AI/ML lifecycle—from ideation to production—to identify pain points and opportunities for delight.
- Develop the Experience Vision: Develop and communicate a compelling vision for the platform's user experience, using wireframes, prototypes, and clear documentation to align technical users, designers, and senior leadership.
- Collaborate with Design: Partner closely with UX/UI designers and researchers to translate user needs into high-fidelity mockups, design systems, and intuitive interaction patterns.
- Prioritize with Purpose: Make difficult trade-off and prioritization decisions focused on maximizing usability, reducing user friction, and delivering a cohesive platform experience.
- Measure Success: Define, track, and analyze key user experience metrics (e.g., task success rate, time-on-task, user satisfaction) to quantify impact and inform the product roadmap.
- Drive Execution: Manage the day-to-day execution and roadmap for the platform's UI/UX, working with multiple engineering teams to deliver results for our users.
