Capital One is looking to solve the problem of leveraging AI and ML technologies to drive innovative and delightful customer experiences, and to identify and evaluate best-in-class third-party products to support this goal.

Requirements

  • Experience with latest AI/ML technologies such as Generative AI, Multi-agentic systems, AI Safety, AIOps, AI Observability and Governance
  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing AI products
  • 2+ years of experience in innovative technology environments that embrace public cloud and open source technologies
  • 2+ years of experience building business-critical AI and Machine Learning products
  • Familiarity with vendor evaluations and selection
  • Experience working with software engineering and data science teams
  • Experience with human-centered design principles and technological innovation

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate a thorough understanding of the problem space and key audiences related to Generative AI at Capital One
  • Develop and communicate a compelling vision through clear and concise presentations, documents and demos of your product’s developer experience
  • Make difficult trade-off and prioritization decisions by working backwards from a customer need and quantifying the value or strategic benefits of your recommendations
  • Build and maintain partnerships with peers, customers and stakeholders that enable collaboration towards shared goals
  • Invest in support, training and documentation materials and processes that enable self-service adoption for customers and effective contribution models with partners
  • Manage day-to-day execution across several tech teams, influencing roadmaps to deliver results for target users
  • Collect and analyze data to track progress, quantify impact and inform decisions

Other

  • At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management
  • Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field or Master's Degree in a quantitative field or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
  • Strong influence skills to improve the overall enterprise ecosystem
  • Ability to work with non-technical stakeholders and senior leaders
