Capital One is looking to transform its internal "Software Shop" platform from a simple requisition tool into a predictive, intelligent engine that eliminates friction for users and approvers, proactively anticipates associate needs, and empowers the workforce. The goal is to improve the associate technology experience from day one, ensuring new hires have the necessary tools immediately to be productive.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience working in Product Management
  • A Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field)
  • A Master's Degree in a quantitative field (Statistics, Economics, Operations Research, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Systems or a related quantitative field) or an MBA with a quantitative concentration
  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products

Responsibilities

  • Own the product strategy for our "Software Shop," a new internal platform that provides 70,000+ associates with the critical applications and tools they need to do their best work.
  • Transform it from a requisition tool into a predictive, intelligent engine that eliminates friction for users and approvers, proactively anticipates associate needs, and empowers our workforce.
  • Define and measure success through clear KPIs.
  • Leverages technology to deliver innovative and resilient solutions that enable both near term and long term value
  • Identifies and resolves complex problems to deliver outcomes while mitigating product risks
  • Leads cross functional teams to solve customer problems and drive organizational alignment
  • Experience translating business strategy and analysis into consumer facing digital products
