The business problem that Centene is looking to solve is to drive product performance for assigned products across multiple lines of business, improve financial plan targets, and deliver competitively priced and compliant products to improve profit and loss statement performance.
Requirements
- Prior experience using analysis tools or systems (ex. web based, custom, proprietary, etc.).
- Experience in the implementation of new programs and products.
- Experience documenting requirements, creating training materials and working directly with end users.
- Prior experience in project management, implementations, finance, data analysis, or actuarial services preferred.
- Experience in healthcare administration and/or managed care including, but not limited to, health plan, provider, or health systems preferred.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage commercial product portfolio performance for the segment(s), refresh strategy, and implement improvement measures as needed to achieve financial plan targets.
- Support and execute strategies to manage cost structure and deliver competitively priced and compliant products to improve profit and loss statement performance, including tracking programs to manage medical costs, unit costs, and selling costs.
- Support and collaborate with cross-functional leadership team to define and execute strategic priorities to ensure success of product.
- Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with corporate leadership team and health plan leaders.
- Evaluate enhancements to products to assess how they support strategic plan, membership enrollment and retention targets.

- Candidate must reside in the state of PA and be willing to travel.
- This is a hybrid position with a preference for 2-3 days/week in office.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sales, Business Administration, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
- 4+ years of experience leveraging analysis to develop and manage initiatives to improve financial performance required.
- 3+ years of supervisory/management experience required.
