Bentley Systems is looking to expand its 'footprint' within assigned accounts by meeting and exceeding new business objectives through a team of sales engineers who generate business from existing and new accounts.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in AEC software sales or business development.
  • 2+ years of experience in Team Leadership and Mentoring.
  • Experience in AEC, Construction, Utilities and/or Government sectors necessary.
  • Proven top performer in a quota-carrying sales role and proven experience successfully closing large volume of deals from new customers as a result with strategic planning, focus and drive.
  • Highly Adaptable, tenacious individuals who can learn, develop, and combine innovative solutions for customer needs.
  • Attention to detail, and insistence on excellence and “getting it right the first time.

Responsibilities

  • Boost product revenue and secure new clients with your team.
  • Provide Industry Sales Engineers with sales training.
  • Lead the design and the roll out of pipeline generation sales activities.
  • Share strategic information such as market intelligence, key customer data, competitive analysis, and pricing information with internal teams.
  • Manage daily sales team operations, including pipeline management, sales forecasting, and target achievement.
  • Collaborate with other company functions, such as solution engineering, marketing and product management, to align sales strategies with overall business goals.
  • Embrace Business Value/Outcome-based Selling: define a common problem for prospects, identify and target those fitting these criteria, and demonstrate how a Bentley solution can solve their issue.

  • This role requires people management.
  • This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week.
  • This roles require communication with Managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and/or by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
  • Minimal travel required.
  • Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements).
