The company is looking for a Quality Manager to oversee the business unit quality function, ensuring flight and product efficiency through the implementation of robust processes and practices in aviation repair and maintenance.
Requirements
- Part 145 repair station experience required.
- Thorough knowledge of company instructions, company processes and other internal procedures.
- Thorough knowledge of airworthiness certification requirements and other regulatory bodies applicable to business unit needs.
- Thorough knowledge of ISO 9000 quality system requirements.
- Thorough knowledge of internal audit policies and procedures.
- Working knowledge of production management computer systems.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Access, Outlook).
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor business unit quality policies and procedures consistent with company and strategic business unit objectives.
- Manages the development and maintenance of methods and systems for measuring the degree by which the business unit’s quality goals, objectives and standards are being met.
- Leads and participates in the business unit quality audit and corrective action process by providing training, facilitation, recommendations and leadership, as required, to achieve optimal results.
- Performs remote onsite quality internal audits to evaluate technician adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Assists external auditors from various quality associations.
- Monitors, reviews and conducts sub-contractor audits in liaison with supplier development.
- Conducts Process Verification Assurance reviews on technicians seeking initial authorization to return to service and periodic unscheduled requalification reviews of existing authorized technicians.

- Supervisory experience in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
- Travel requirements greater than 50%
- Must be authorized to work in the US.
- A&P License preferred or equivalent experience
