SanMar is looking to solve the problem of delivering exceptional leadership and technology organization, leading teams responsible for Software Development and Quality Assurance, and working closely with Application Lifecycle Management, Project Managers, and Business Analysts to deliver projects and systems supporting both internal and external customers.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of software development, life cycle methods and standards for both traditional and agile techniques
- Technical understanding and experience of delivering projects with key technologies, platforms and integrations (Microsoft developer tools, Azure, JAVA, SQL, SAP Hybris, SAP Cloud, etc.)
- Experience driving results through 3rd party development relationships
- Ability to manage conflict, troubleshoot software development issues, and resolve problems
- Ability to explain highly technical concepts to non-technical individuals, and project objectives to technical individuals
- Experience with software development, DevOps, or project management
- Knowledge of eCommerce software development
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage eCommerce Software Development teams.
- Optimize software development processes to match SanMar’s goals for growth and delivery of IT projects.
- Sustain an environment of continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for new processes and technology.
- Integrate delivery capabilities and allocate work across 3rd party development partners and SanMar employees.
- Foster a culture of proactive engineering and operational improvement through mentoring, feedback, and metrics.
- Work collaboratively to manage stakeholder expectations and drive the execution of projects.
- Responsible for the delivery of excellence in quality and service levels.
Other
- Bachelor's Degree in computer science, IT Management, or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 4-6 years of experience in DevOps, software development, or project management
- A passion for coaching individuals and developing teams
- Excellent interpersonal skills, great communicator - written and verbal, able to maintain outstanding relationships across the organization
- Ability to work on computer for multiple hours with frequent interruptions, quarterly travel may be required
