QGenda needs a Manager, Software Development to lead a high-performing development team and ensure the delivery of high-quality code in a timely manner.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software development, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
  • Strong background in software development, including experience with relevant programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C, etc.).
  • Experience in building and delivering SaaS applications, particularly in a cloud-based environment (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Familiarity with modern software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, or Kanban).
  • Understanding of the healthcare industry or experience working in regulated environments (e.g., HIPAA, HITECH) is a plus, but not required.
  • Basic familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is helpful, though not essential for the role.

Responsibilities

  • Project Oversight: Ensure that the team delivers high-quality software on time, aligned with business priorities and product goals.
  • Code Reviews & Quality Assurance: Ensure that best practices for code quality, performance, and security are followed.
  • Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with product managers, designers, and other engineering teams to ensure alignment on requirements and expectations.
  • Technology & Tools Oversight: Keep up to date with industry trends and help evaluate and introduce new technologies or tools that could improve development efficiency and quality.

  • Team Culture & Morale: Cultivate a positive, high-performing team culture that values collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
  • Process Improvement: Help optimize team workflows and development processes to improve productivity and reduce friction.
