General Motors is seeking a Senior Manager to lead and scale a team focused on building and enabling authentication services across GM’s varied enterprise. This role will play a critical part in shaping the future of authentication and identity architecture that underpins GM’s global products, platforms, and ecosystem.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of modern identity and service architectures (cloud, hybrid, zero trust).
- Experience managing large-scale technical programs and teams across multiple time zones.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of security engineers and technical program managers.
- Define and execute the roadmap for authentication services in partnership with enterprise architecture and security leadership.
- Ensure authentication services are scalable, reliable, and aligned with GM’s cybersecurity standards.
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve user experience while maintaining a high security posture.
- Collaborate with IT, product, infrastructure, and application development teams to ensure secure integration of authentication capabilities.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and advisor on identity and access security topics.
