L3Harris Technologies is looking to solve the problem of developing robust software solutions spanning various domains, including Space, by recruiting a Software Group Lead to support engineering development efforts across a range of software projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience with Java.
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience with C++.
- Experience with embedded system design and development
- Experience with design, development and operation of complex spacecraft ground systems.
- Recent experience in cloud, AI/ML, containerization
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure
- Experience with containerization
Responsibilities
- Contribute to requirements analysis, design, coding, testing, integration, and maintenance.
- Design and reverse engineer complex software systems.
- Implement and migrate cloud-native solutions with environments such as AWS and/or Azure.
- Utilize recent experience in cloud, AI/ML, containerization, and Java/C++.
- Propose and integrate new technologies.
- Ensure AS9100 compliance and manage audits.
- Audit and maintain software process documentation.
Other
- Lead staffing, training, talent development, engagement, and retention.
- Manage customer relationships.
- Collaborate to define needs and develop solutions.
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 9 years software experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of software experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of software experience.
- U.S. citizenship and willing to obtain Top Secret Government Clearance.
