Developing ground system command and control and mission planning capabilities for satellite ground systems
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience with Java, JavaScript, and Python
- Minimum of 5 years of software development experience with C++
- Experience designing and implementing cloud native solutions, and migrating solutions to the cloud
- Experience with Amazon AWS and/or Microsoft Azure
- Experience with DevSecOps and tools like Maven and Nexus
Responsibilities
- Manage customer relationships to support customer retention and drive growth
- Understanding of mission requirements for satellite ground systems
- Utilize strong technical skillset, able to contribute to requirements analysis, design, code and unit test, integration and test, requirements sell off, and operations and maintenance of satellite ground systems
- Coordinate software team support for quotes and proposals, including technical solution, requirements compliance, labor estimates, material estimates, subcontract estimates, and schedules
- Proven track record of leading Agile software development teams
- Manage Agile software development projects through the engineering process reviews and process gates

- Meets functional leadership requirements of staffing, training, talent development, engagement, retention and overall management of a software engineering team
- U.S. citizenship and willing to obtain Top Secret Government Clearance
- Strong communication skills
- Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 9 years software experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 7 years of software experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of software experience
