Northrop Grumman's Defense Systems (NGDS) sector is looking for a Manager Software Engineering 1 to lead a team of talented software engineers and ensure quality engineering support to programs, IRADs and new business pursuits in the Mission Data Management (MDM) Operating Unit.
Requirements
- Active TS/SCI clearance
- Experience in managing or coordinating the implementation and delivery of sophisticated software systems in support of Government customers
- Previous experience in people and / or technical leadership roles
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Able to obtain CompTIA Security+ certification or IAT Level II equivalent per DoD 8570.01 within 60 days of start date
- Experience with Cloud-Based Technologies
- Ability to hold a technical role on the DAF CLOUDworks program at AFRL/RI
Responsibilities
- Providing functional leadership to the team in a strong engineering organization, collaborating with peers across multiple organizations.
- Participate in engineering activities related to our Intelligence, Systems, Infrastructure, Tools & Enhancements (InSITE) Program as well as other relevant Northrop Grumman Defense Systems programs
- Experience in managing or coordinating the implementation and delivery of sophisticated software systems in support of Government customers
- Experience leading engineering teams using Agile processes and continuous integration / continuous deployment processes and tools
- Ability to hold a technical role on the DAF CLOUDworks program at AFRL/RI
- Experience with Cloud-Based Technologies
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
