Henry Schein One is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to lead engineering teams building Dentrix, the industry’s must trusted and awarded dental practice management system. This individual will drive excellence across engineering, quality assurance, and product delivery, while fostering a high-performance, people-first culture.
Requirements
- Languages & Frameworks: C, C-Sharp, C++, .Net 4.7
- Frontend: WinForms, WPF, WinUI
- Database: MS SQL Server
- DevOps & Tools: GitLab and Jira
- Client Server Architecture
- Experience with REST APIs, Java and AWS a plus
- Excellent knowledge of SDLC, including Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow an engineering team delivering mission-critical software to dental practices and their patients
- Directly oversee a team of various levels of engineers (onshore and nearshore) and influence engineering practices, technical execution, and outcomes across the organization
- Establish and ensure adherence to standards for software engineering, analysis, QA, and project delivery
- Partner with Product and UX to deliver customer-centric solutions that align with strategic initiatives
- Monitor and manage project scope, forecasts, risks, and budgets
- Promote mature DevOps practices, continuous integration/deployment, and test-driven development
- Execute projects through the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with cross-functional collaboration across product, architecture, and business leadership.

- This position will be remote within the United States with a preference to candidates in Utah that are able to come into the office 1-2 days per week.
