Affirm is looking to solve the problem of reinventing credit to make it more honest and friendly, and the Identity Engineering team is responsible for onboarding consumers and managing their authentication and verification journeys
Requirements
- Prior experience architecting, building, launching and maintaining backend systems
- Demonstrated experience leading technical projects and mentoring engineers with the ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and influence technical decisions across teams

Other
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering with 2+ years of engineering leadership experience
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Education: This position requires either equivalent practical experience or a Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Community builder with strong network-building and collaboration skills and a strong desire to grow and mentor others
- Ability to work remotely, with occasional requirements to work out of an assigned Affirm office
