L3Harris ForceX is looking for a Software Engineering Manager to lead a team of approximately 15 engineers, ensuring the successful delivery of products, programs, and engineering initiatives. This role requires managing talent, maintaining technical standards, and executing projects within budget, while also contributing directly to engineering tasks as a working manager.
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of relevant technologies and software development methodologies.
- Strong understanding of software development and test principles, practices, and processes.
- Experience in working with both existing and emerging technologies.
- Experience with lifecycle tool chains such as Digital.ai Agility, SpiraTest, Jama, and others.
- Working knowledge of digital tools such as Agility, SpiraTest tools, and Visual Studio.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a formal management role leading diverse groups of technical resources.
- Extensive experience in engineering roles with a focus on leadership and management.
- Experience recruiting, sourcing, interviewing, and hiring high-quality talent.
- Demonstrated success in leading high-performing engineering teams.
