Forescout is seeking a Manager of Software Engineering to support network integrations, aiming to expand and modernize their offerings through a growing team.
Requirements
- Solid understanding of software development, system architecture, and scalability.
- Familiarity with modern development frameworks, cloud computing (AWS, Azure, GCP), and DevOps.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible), and microservices.
Responsibilities
- Build and manage a team of software engineers to expand and modernize our network integrations.
- Drive technical and strategic direction for the engineering team.
- Establish and enforce engineering best practices, code quality, and security standards.
- Advocate for process improvements, automation, and scaling strategies.
- Review technical designs and ensure alignment with best practices.
- Understanding of performance optimization, security best practices, and cost-efficient solutions.
- Experience with engineering metrics (velocity, lead time, incident response, etc.) to track and improve team efficiency.
