Natera is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead a software development team focused on the Oncology domain, aiming to build critical web applications and services, drive technical excellence, and deliver exceptional user experiences in a fast-growing biotech company.
Requirements
- Modern web development (React, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, etc)
- Databases, including SQL and noSQL
- Backend systems and APIs
- Cloud infrastructure (preferably AWS)
- Experience with programming in Java framework such as Spring
- Experience with programming in JavaScript frameworks such as NextJS
- Experience with front-end development in React
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of 6-8 engineers, focusing on career development and technical growth
- Drive technical roadmap execution and architectural decisions
- Manage project delivery, resource allocation, and sprint planning
- Establish and maintain engineering best practices and quality standards
- Collaborate with product management to define technical requirements and timelines
- Lead hiring initiatives to build and scale the engineering team
- Foster a culture of code quality, testing, and documentation
