Requirements
- 10+ years in software development, including 3+ years in a leadership role
- Strong technical background in Java, SQL, .Net, C, Cloud technologies or similar
- Expertise in Agile, SDLC, and modern development practices
- Proven experience managing offshore teams and working across time zones
- Strong knowledge and experience in project planning and management tools
- Substantial Software Engineering experience
- Experience in staff resourcing and management, including partnering and offshoring resourcing models
Responsibilities
- Partnering with and leading large offshore resources to solving complex business needs, serving as the technical contact
- Writing advanced complex code for computer systems, acting as a senior source of expertise, performing reviews, and leading development
- Acting as an acknowledged go-to person on coding and technical issues
- Recommending technical strategy and direction across functional area, participating in the development and evolution of architecture
- Working directly with customers and end-users, and providing design input across a product
- Perform reviews to ensure enterprise and architectural standards and processes are followed

Other
- Managing your team, including interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, directing work, appraising performance, and giving appropriate feedback
- Complete management responsibilities to include performance management, hiring and coaching of staff, and resource planning

- Manage and encourage new ideas from staff to foster improvements through innovations
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent
