Figma is looking to grow its team to make design accessible to all. The Engineering Manager for Collaboration Tools will own the end-to-end success of Figma's Collab seat offering, including Figma Slides and FigJam, to transform how people brainstorm, develop, and present ideas, and to unlock new users and expand within existing customer bases.
Requirements
- 4+ years of experience hiring and leading teams as an engineering manager with at least 2 years of experience managing managers
- Ability to operate effectively at the level of product and business strategy while balancing that with operational excellence in running engineering teams
- Proven track record of successfully operating and growing E2E product lines
- Experience leading product teams in B2B companies with a PLG motion
- Previous experience in integrating AI into existing product lines effectively
Responsibilities
- Manage and support a group of engineering managers and teams responsible for FigJam and Figma Slides
- Partner with product, design, and data to continue innovating on our Collab Tools product and accelerate the growth of Figma’s Collab seat
- Provide hands-on technical leadership to your teams and others that collaborate with your teams to ensure a cohesive product experience and the right technical abstractions
- Recruit, mentor and retain high performing engineers (and help with other cross functional roles)
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and taking calculated risks

- This is a full time role that can be held from one of our US hubs or remotely in the United States.
