Meta is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to drive innovation, collaboration, and technical proven experience in the tech industry
Requirements
- 12+ years, or PhD + 8 years, of software engineering work experience, including technical management
- Technical experience in leading teams/projects in one or more of the technical domains of machine perception (i.e., machine vision, deep learning, sensors and robotics)
- Experience in managing teams productizing Computer Vision or Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning technologies from conception to end
- Experience in leading teams interfacing with Hardware (sensors, silicon) teams in setting requirements and product tradeoffs
- Experience managing joint hardware-software development and associated rapid prototyping projects
- Masters, PhD, or work experience in a related field of Computer Vision, or AI/Machine Learning in domains related to Simultaneous Localization and Mapping/Position Tracking, 3D reconstruction, depth sensing, bayesian filtering, information theory, or 3D geometry

- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience
- 2+ years managing managers, 5+ years managing technical teams
- Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management and managing engineers
