Meta is seeking a Software Engineering Manager to drive innovation, collaboration, and technical proven experience within the Connectivity team.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience recruiting and managing technical teams, including performance management and managing engineers
- 12+ years, or PhD + 8 years, of software engineering work experience, including technical management
- 2+ years managing managers, 5+ years managing technical teams
- Demonstrated expertise in mobile application development (Android and/or iOS)
- Demonstrated understanding of software development best practices, including design, testing, and deployment
- Experience building and scaling connectivity layers or networking stacks for mobile platforms
- In-depth knowledge of wireless technologies such as Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, UWB, and NFC
Responsibilities

- BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline or equivalent experience
- Proven communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Track record of delivering high-quality, production-ready software in a time-sensitive environment
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with product and design stakeholders
- Experience in mentoring and developing engineering talent
