Cribl is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead the continued development, ensure reliability, and drive operational excellence for their AI products, integrating cutting-edge Generative AI technologies with the Cribl Product suite to solve real customer problems.
Requirements
- Recent (within 5 years) hands-on engineering experience in: TypeScript / JavaScript, Python or Go
- Background in B2B SaaS product development
- Demonstrated interest in AI/ML
- Experience working directly with AI products
Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional AI product engineering team, owning strategy and execution across multiple Copilot experiences.
- Drive technical direction and product evolution for the AI stack, inference backend, and user-facing AI products.
- Oversee infrastructure, on-call rotations, and operational processes.
- Contribute 25–40% of your time to hands-on engineering: Writing evals
- Testing and debugging features
- Occasionally contributing to inference stack development

- Can articulate informed opinions about current AI trends
- Strong communication skills and leadership presence in a distributed team
- This position will require stand-by, on-call, or off-hours duties
