Henry Schein One is looking for a Software Engineering Manager and an Associate Software Engineering Manager to lead a mission-focused team building solutions that improve the lives of Henry Schein One users and their patients by shaping technical strategy, mentoring engineers, and delivering high-availability dental imaging solutions.
Requirements
- C-Sharp, C++, SQL, ADO.NET
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Backbone.js
- PostgreSQL, SQL
- GitLab and Jira
- 5 -7 years of progressive software development experience
- Proven technical expertise with modern development practices; able to contribute code and architecture guidance
- Specialized experience in device driver development, including low-level programming and hardware/software integration
Responsibilities
- Lead and grow a mission-focused team of 5 engineers and test engineers to deliver market-leading solutions on our dental imaging platform
- Oversee the team and support them in achieving their missions and delivery commitments
- Enable your team by removing workflow roadblocks and improving processes
- Ensure products are secure, compliant, and reliable for Henry Schein One customers
- Mature engineering practices and processes to support global growth opportunities
- Proven technical expertise with modern development practices; able to contribute code and architecture guidance
- Experience balancing leadership and delivery, thriving in a player-coach role

- This position will be hybrid at Iowa State Research Park at 2625 N Loop Dr Suite 2130, Ames, IA 50010 1-2 days per week.
