NBCUniversal's Project Keystone aims to transform finance processes across Record-to-Report (RTR), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC), Treasury, Tax, and FP&A by building a globally standardized, flexible, and data-driven business platform enabling real-time insights for better and faster decision-making.
Requirements
- 7+ years SAP ABAP engineering experience, including 2+ years as a Team Lead and/or people manager.
- Deep knowledge in various SAP modules, specifically within PTP (e.g., MM, SD, FI-AP), MDG, and Integration development working on large-scale SAP S/4 transformations.
- Demonstrated experience managing and leading large development teams (30+ members) engaged in SAP ABAP and Fiori build activities, including estimating, planning, managing execution, and reporting on technical build activities, issues, and risks.
- Deep knowledge of the ABAP development and testing lifecycle process including functional specification review through support during SIT, UAT, and Cutover.
- Experience in an N+1 SAP landscape environment with parallel development tracks, including processes for merging changes.
- Strong understanding of SAP PTP design and process flows, including Purchase Requisitions, Purchase Orders, Goods Receipt, Invoice Verification, Payment Processing, and related configurations.
- Knowledge and awareness of SAP Clean Core principles, including released APIs, in-app extensibility options, and key user extensibility.
Responsibilities
- Manage onsite and offshore employee and vendor resources engaged in S/4 HANA SAP Development (ABAP and Fiori) for the PTP and MDG areas, taking accountability for their deliverables and quality adherence to NBCU engineering standards.
- Collaborate with architects and engineering leads on SAP S/4 HANA engineering development strategy, architecture, and governance of application development and engineering activities for NBCU PTP/MDG processes.
- Work with the Product (Functional) Teams and other engineering teams to architect, design, and evaluate technical design options for custom PTP development, keeping in mind SAP's S/4 HANA clean core principles and NBCU best practices.
- Provide technical work effort estimations for custom projects and ensure high-quality and on-schedule delivery.
- Design, develop, track, and report on complex technical project plans in line with overall PMO timelines.
- Take a lead role in maintaining and enforcing ABAP naming, coding, and development standards.
- Provide architecture and design guidance to the development team, emphasizing SAP's Clean Core principles. Utilize tools such as ATC (ABAP Test Cockpit), CCM (Custom Code Management), and others.
