The Options Clearing Corporation (OCC) is looking to solve problems related to leading the platform team, managing complex projects, and ensuring compliance with various OCC standards around coding, testing, and documenting systems.
Requirements
- Working knowledge with ServiceNow and familiarity with other cloud-based technology management solutions (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Workday, Oracle Cloud, etc.)
- Working knowledge of JavaScript
- Knowledge of various IT processes and best practices
- Knowledge of Agile Development framework and effective SCRUM techniques
- Knowledge of system architecture and data analytics
- ServiceNow Certified Master Architect (Preferred)
- ServiceNow Certified Technical Architect (Preferred)
Responsibilities
- Plans a strategic roadmap for the platform and manages the delivery of complex projects which may involve multiple systems
- Develops short and long-term strategy for delivery of system objectives together with the technical and business product owner(s) and other partners
- Provides leadership to solution development teams to ensure integrated architecture, and proactively engages with teams to promote process and organizational improvements that enhance overall platform effectiveness
- Manages and facilitates technical experts and architects resolve complex technical challenges while also ensuring compliance of various OCC standards around coding, testing, and documenting the systems you develop
- Guides the transformation of complex business requirements into specifications that will increase understanding of Why & What part of business requirements to the development team
- Leads data management and reporting efforts to promote a stable architecture and usable platform
- A team player who assists the team as required to achieve collective goals & delivery milestones including knowledge-share
Other
- BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field (Required)
- Masters degree in Computer Science (Preferred)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills (Required)
- Ability to create and present executive level presentations (Required)
- 8+ years in implementing various solutions, can offer customers real-world examples and provide best practice solution options (Required)
