Panasonic Avionics Corporation is seeking a Manager, Software Quality Assurance to oversee software quality assurance, develop and implement technical quality assurance, control systems, and processes to ensure the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products.

Requirements

  • Thorough working knowledge of applicable quality regulatory requirements
  • Ability to research and understand customer requirements documents
  • Knowledge of software development lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies
  • Experience with test automation and AI-driven quality tools
  • Metrics-based performance tracking
  • Knowledge of industry regulations and standards
  • Experience with quality system corrective and preventive action programs

Responsibilities

  • Oversees Software Quality Assurance
  • Develop, implement and maintain technical quality assurance, control systems, and processes
  • Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods and procedures for testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products
  • Participates in the reviewing of engineering designs to ensure quality requirements and other considerations are taken into account
  • Champions the adoption of modern QA methodologies including test automation, AI-driven quality tools, and metrics-based performance tracking
  • Collaborates with the SWE team to embed quality into every stage of the development lifecycle
  • Oversees the gated development process to ensure quality and timely delivery of software releases

Other

  • BA/BS Degree required
  • 8 years of broad technical experience of which 5 years should be in quality assurance including conducting quality audits
  • Prior supervisory, team lead, or project leader experience
  • Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 50% of time
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
