Panasonic Avionics Corporation is seeking a Manager, Software Quality Assurance to oversee software quality assurance, develop and implement technical quality assurance, control systems, and processes to ensure the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products.
Requirements
- Thorough working knowledge of applicable quality regulatory requirements
- Ability to research and understand customer requirements documents
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies
- Experience with test automation and AI-driven quality tools
- Metrics-based performance tracking
- Knowledge of industry regulations and standards
- Experience with quality system corrective and preventive action programs
Responsibilities
- Oversees Software Quality Assurance
- Develop, implement and maintain technical quality assurance, control systems, and processes
- Defines and specifies the implementation of standards, methods and procedures for testing and evaluating the precision, accuracy, and reliability of company products
- Participates in the reviewing of engineering designs to ensure quality requirements and other considerations are taken into account
- Champions the adoption of modern QA methodologies including test automation, AI-driven quality tools, and metrics-based performance tracking
- Collaborates with the SWE team to embed quality into every stage of the development lifecycle
- Oversees the gated development process to ensure quality and timely delivery of software releases
Other
- BA/BS Degree required
- 8 years of broad technical experience of which 5 years should be in quality assurance including conducting quality audits
- Prior supervisory, team lead, or project leader experience
- Ability to travel both domestically and internationally up to 50% of time
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
