PlayStation is looking for a Software Engineering Manager in Test to lead quality engineering teams and set the direction for the next generation of PlayStation's testing technology.
Requirements
Proficient in Python programming
Enough C++ experience to provide guidance to junior engineers in code review
A solid understanding of the software development lifecycle and applying proven software methodologies to testing and driving reductions in technical debt
Experience with software engineering practices and exposure to software automation and testing systems (e.g. Jenkins)
Past experience with cloud computing and containerization (Docker)
Past experience with game development
Experience with LLVM compiler infrastructure
Responsibilities
Lead a diverse team of Software Engineers in Test
Support QE teams in maintaining and improving tools and infrastructure to build and test PlayStation sample applications
Research and craft new tools for overcoming inefficient processes by automating work
Coordinate construction of testing plans, samples, and documentation with global software production, documentation, and remote offshore engineering teams
Analyze the quality of PlayStation CPU compilers and tools, real-world audio and video codecs, and 3D Audio technology
Test 3D graphics, artificial intelligence, and the fully integrated PlayStation game development environment
Maintain and improve the highest quality software standards

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
Effective leading medium size Agile teams in quality and testing engineering domains
Proven success in people management including mentorship
Possessing outstanding verbal and written communication skills
Experience recruiting software engineering talent
Ability to present to product managers, software engineers, project managers, and customers
