Requirements
- Experience working with development tools for requirements management, issue management tracking, and a solid technical understanding of software engineering principles (e.g., SDLC, IEC Agile).
- Capable of analyzing and solving complex problems through innovative thought and experience, as well as project management tools.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the development and optimization of software and systems for our infusion pump platform, ensuring compliance with stringent regulatory and safety standards for medical devices.
- Develop and manage software requirements and risk management for software projects, ensuring that software and systems meet clinical and user needs.
- Identify and mitigate technical risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and driving excellence in software development.
Other
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a multi-disciplinary engineering team, driving a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Champion an Agile development culture within the team, advocating for the benefits of Agile methodologies and promoting the adoption and integration of Agile practices across the software engineering team.
- Represent the systems software engineering team in meetings, presentations, and other communications with internal and external stakeholders.
- Effectively coach, mentor, and motivate team members to achieve outstanding performance, taking ownership of deliverables and ensuring timely, high-quality delivery.
- Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, with 8+ years of related experience.
- Managing technical teams in the development of medical device software, with a demonstrated expertise in systems engineering for the development of medical devices.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to build and sustain relationships with various stakeholders, handle competing priorities, and maintain high energy and drive team engagement.
