Nu Skin is seeking to integrate environmental and social responsibility throughout their product lifecycle and drive sustainable innovation while ensuring business objectives are met.

Requirements

  • Direct experience in product sustainability with a history of proven success.
  • Experience innovating within a corporation or creating and establishing successful new programs.
  • Knowledge of various engineering and manufacturing processes preferred.
  • Challenges the status quo, proven track record of inspiring change and teaching/motivating individuals to develop & implement new ways of thinking and doing business.
  • High-level of personal accountability.
  • Strong communicator - strong verbal, written and presentation communication skills - able to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Creative mind and problem solver – someone who is constantly looking for opportunities to improve the initiatives of which they are a part.

Responsibilities

  • Assess the organization’s current sustainability performance with regards to product goals and identify and prioritize key sustainability issues.
  • Ensure compliance with global sustainability requirements (PPWR, California Climate Bill, JP Packaging Positive List, Canadian Federal Plastics Registry Reporting, etc)
  • Annual RSPO and Carbon accounting
  • Strategize our many methods of reporting on sustainability, both with internal partners as well as external reporting.
  • Conduct sustainability-related risk assessments.
  • Offer expertise and support for initiatives to reduce company-wide resource consumption and waste generation.
  • Build effective partnerships with external organizations to support sustainability efforts.

Other

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience with previous direct (hands-on) Quality Leadership experience in a supervisory role.
  • Ability to lead employees to assure company goals and results are met.
  • Consistent track record in establishing deep and lasting customer and supplier relationships.
  • High-level of personal accountability.
