Newport News Shipbuilding (NNS) is seeking to hire a supervisor to oversee employees who test and/or inspect products to ensure compliance with specifications.
Requirements
- Reactor Plant Inspection Background familiar with the NDT (TECH-PUB-271 and 250-1500) and Certifications for Nuclear Systems.
- Understanding of NAVSEA 4000 Certification Requirements.
- Must be able to obtain or maintain a minimum of a Confidential DoD security clearance.

- Supervises employees who test and/or inspect products to determine compliance with specifications.

- Apprentice graduate, Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent and 6 years of applicable technical experience. 4 years of related exempt experience can be substituted for Bachelor’s degree. A minimum of 2 years as a Supervisor Test Inspection 1 or equivalent positon plus a minimum of 8 years related non-exempt experience can be substituted for a Bachelor’s degree and experience.
