Piper Companies is looking for a Manual QA Tester to perform end-to-end testing on software applications to identify defects and ensure quality.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Manual QA Tester or similar role.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and practices.
- Experience with end-to-end testing and API testing.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute detailed test plans and test cases.
- Perform manual testing of software applications to identify defects and ensure quality.
- Conduct end-to-end testing to validate the complete workflow of applications, ensuring all components and systems work seamlessly together.
- Perform API testing to verify the integrity and functionality of backend services, ensuring they interact correctly with the front-end systems.
- Document and report bugs, issues, and defects clearly and concisely.
- Conduct regression testing to validate that fixes do not affect existing functionalities.
- Participate in test planning, requirement analysis, and review meetings.
Other
- The Manual QA Tester will need to sit on site 3 days per week in Durham, NC and is a contract role with potential to hire.
- Collaborate with developers and product managers to resolve issues and ensure software meets requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field is required.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
