Steampunk is seeking a Manual Test Engineer to provide testing and QA expertise in mission-critical work across their client base, focusing on delivering quality assurance services to support application, cloud, and data systems development within their DevSecOps practice.
Requirements
- Experience with various types of testing, including the following: Data validation testing, Functional testing, Usability testing, Accessibility (508) testing, User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
- Develop and maintain project testing infrastructure
- Write detailed test scripts, test reports, and analyses for the product
- Experience with bug-tracking systems such as JIRA
- Experience writing test scripts and test reports
- Certifications: CAST (Certified Associate in Software Testing), International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) Certification
- 3 years of proven experience as a manual tester
Responsibilities

Other
- Ability to obtain a U.S. government Security Clearance
- BS Degree in an IT field OR BS in a non-IT field and 2 years related IT experience
- 3 years of application testing experience in an Agile environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal and collaborative skills
- Attention to detail, ability to follow test plans and scripts, and good time management
