Google's custom-designed equipment makes up one of the largest and most powerful computing infrastructures in the world. The Manufacturing Operations team is responsible for providing the manufacturing capability to deliver this state-of-the-art physical infrastructure.
Requirements
- Experience in embedded software or test automation with Python.
- Experience with developing manufacturing test hardware using electronics, fixturing, and instrumentation.
- Understanding of networking fundamentals in PCIe, Ethernet, and TCP/IP.
- Ability to generate product-specific test plans and execute testing.
Responsibilities
- Lead manufacturing test development for new and existing hardware designs to support Compute and Storage, Networking, and Machine Learning Data Center products.
- Write test plans, and drive test coverage based on product requirements.
- Develop automated test software for functional test.
- Conduct code reviews and debug test failures.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and root cause manufacturing yield issues and field escapes.
- Drive issues to closure with preventive measures, and document debug process and findings.
- Identify Design for Testing (DFT) opportunities, document, and collaborate with design engineering hardware/software for implementation prior to manufacturing builds.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience in manufacturing.
