Super Micro Computer is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to ensure their electronic boards (PCBA) and accessories meet industrial and company quality standards by overseeing daily operations, isolating and analyzing defects, and collaborating with the QA team for product improvement in a fast-paced production environment.

Requirements

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in a production or manufacturing environment, preferably in the electronics or high-tech industry.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control principles.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or similar continuous improvement methodologies is a plus.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data analysis, etc.).
  • Experience with analytical tools/software such as Minitab, Power BI, or other statistical analysis programs is a plus.
  • Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities to identify and address production issues quickly and effectively.
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high quality standards and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations on the production floor to ensure all processes run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Provide technical support to resolve issues that arise during production and minimize downtime.
  • Analyze and optimize existing manufacturing processes to improve efficiency, product quality, and cost effectiveness.
  • Implement best practices and continuous improvement initiatives like Lean Manufacturing(5S etc) and Six Sigma.
  • Ensure all machinery and equipment are properly maintained and calibrated.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot/communicate mechanical, electrical, and software related issues on production equipment.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Control team to identify and address production issues impacting product quality.

Other

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Previous experience in optimizing production processes and working with cross functional teams.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with production operators, technicians, and cross functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and manage multiple tasks with a proactive approach.
  • Willingness to occasionally provide support beyond regular working hours in case of production emergencies.
