GE HealthCare is looking to solve quality assurance issues in their manufacturing process at their State College, PA facility
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Experience with Oracle or eDHR software is desirable
Responsibilities
- Receive material into inventory and inspect for defects or irregularities using a variety of measuring devices such as calipers, micrometers, etc.
- Inspect product for cosmetic flaws and/or damage prior to shipping
- Maintain accurate records in Oracle and eDHR including notes, scrap, rejects, hold tags, and shipping documents
- Conduct periodic audits of inspection processes and provide feedback to supervisors
- Review work orders and ensure proper documentation has been completed before releasing products
- Participate in cross functional teams to address root causes identified through quality inspections
- Work collaboratively with Production Management to implement solutions for quality concerns
Other
- High school diploma required, Associates degree preferred
- Minimum two years’ experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Organized, detail oriented, self motivated, and able to multi-task effectively
