The company is looking to improve its manufacturing processes by enhancing automation, troubleshooting equipment, and developing new systems like MES.
Requirements
- Strong understanding of PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems.
- Experience with robotics, automation, and process control systems.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in an equipment controls engineering role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop control systems for manufacturing processes, focusing on automation and process improvement.
- Implement and maintain PLC (Programmable Logic Controller) systems, HMI (Human Machine Interface) configurations, and other control components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to controls and automation systems.
- Assist in development of an internal MES.
- Develop HMIs
- Troubleshoot PLC issues
- collect & pareto data to drive improvement on the production line.

- Reporting to the VP of Manufacturing Operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure integration of control systems with overall manufacturing operations.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and regulatory standards.
- Provide technical support and training to manufacturing personnel.
