Requirements

  • Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • Working towards a BS in Electrical Computer Engineering.
  • Prior experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Strong background in Root
  • Experience with standard work tools and processes.
  • Familiarity with engineering tools such as SAP, Engineering drawings, change control board, Solidworks, AutoCAD, eView, PDM, etc.

Responsibilities

  • You will provide technical interpretations of drawings and specifications and analyze and resolve design tolerance problems.
  • You will provide information to evaluate, select, and order capital test equipment and complete cost/payback analysis.
  • You will develop, implement, and maintain test methods and processes in the manufacture and test of sub-assembly, module, and top level product for established product line.
  • You will eliminate/reduce test defects and improve test yields for routine issues of various levels of scope.
  • You will provide information to evaluate Customer Returned Good (CRG) activity to identify potential failure trends.
  • You will perform room cause analysis and take corrective action to resolve test failures.

  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access information under this program/contract
  • Some travel to local Iowa regional sites will be required.
  • Must be available for a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run May/June- December (including the Fall semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).
  • Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.
  • Must have strong communication and collaboration skills.
