Pall Corporation is seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to drive improvements across assigned value streams to meet Safety, Internal and External Quality, on-time delivery, lead time reduction, and Productivity. The role involves leading data-driven, root-cause-based action plans to achieve breakthrough KPIs through LEAN (DBS) tools and continuous improvement.
Requirements
- Proficient in Design for Manufacturability (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), statistical tolerance analysis, functional dimensioning, and tolerance analysis.
- Strong background in complex manufacturing processes and quality systems.
- Knowledge of FMEA, DOE, and failure analysis methodologies.
- Project leadership experience working with cross-functional teams
Responsibilities
- Provide daily technical support to the manufacturing floor by addressing documentation, process, and material flow gaps, and lead LEAN/DBS implementation through formal and informal Kaizens.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement timely solutions for product and process issues; facilitate process mapping to drive continuous improvement and eliminate waste.
- Serve as project manager for KPI improvement plans, leading problem-solving, action planning, execution reviews, and sustainment tracking; explore advanced technologies to support breakthrough results.
- Collaborate with product engineering during design to ensure manufacturability and tooling readiness; align supply chain capabilities for successful new design launches.
- Develop and document manufacturing processes for new and updated products; coordinate with cross-functional teams to prioritize projects and recommend equipment or tooling updates.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Aerospace, or related Engineering field, with at least 3 years of relevant experience.
- This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. US citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required.
- Travel domestically (US) and/or internationally up to 10%
