RTX is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer Co-Op to support and optimize manufacturing processes in multiple production areas, troubleshoot and solve production process problems, develop and support tooling, manage SAP Work Orders, maintain and enhance process documentation, and drive continuous improvement in yield, quality, cost, schedule, and productivity.
Requirements
- student must be pursuing a Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering Science.
- Preferably Electrical, Electronic, and Mechanical engineering disciplines.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite Software such as MS Word, MS Excel/Macro, MS PPT, etc.
- Displays education experience with computer software languages such as C, C+, C++, Phyton, etc.
- Related Mechanical/Electrical Process Engineering School project exposure/participation.
- Demonstrate knowledge of Six Sigma principles.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and solve production process problems with processes or equipment already in operation.
- Develop and support tooling for existing and new products.
- SAP Work Order, Routing, and BOM management.
- Maintain and Enhance process documentation to current and new process change Configurations.
- Continuously drive improvement in areas of yield, quality cost, schedule, and productivity applying quality tools such as Six Sigma, ACE, etc.

- Immerse yourself in a full-time, Monday-Friday co-op session, that will run June-December (including the Fall semester; it is expected students will take a semester off from coursework to fully engage with this working mentorship opportunity).
