S&C Electric Company needs to define, implement, maintain, and improve assembly processes for their Fuse Products Value Stream to ensure the efficient and effective production of critical infrastructure equipment.
Requirements
- Be working toward a bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline (Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical, or Quality Engineering or Engineering Technology preferred)
- A basic understanding of hand tools such as screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches, etc.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
Responsibilities
- Creating assembly process definition tools including process flow diagrams, assembly process control plans, and assembly instruction specifications
- Updating assembly process documentation on existing products as changes are made
- Solving problems in assembly that are found to have root causes relating to the assembly processes
- Analyzing work stations and responding to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost
