IDEX is looking for a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op to support projects related to Safety, Continuous Improvement, Lean, and 8020 across their Machine Shop and Foundry facilities.
Requirements
- Knowledgeable with 3D CAD software.
Responsibilities
- Participate in cross-functional project teams.
- Support continuous improvement and Lean events.
- Develop standard work instructions specific to machines or work processes.
- Work in a team environment to implement manufacturing improvement projects.
Other
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or Industrial Technology.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting preferred.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 in Major preferred.
- This position requires compliance with ITAR regulations. Therefore, all employees working in this capacity must meet citizenship status and the employee must be a US Citizen or a US Permanent Resident.
- Interest in a career path in the industrial manufacturing industry.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
