L3Harris is seeking to hire a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to assist with production build documents, assess production risks, recommend process enhancements, and support the release of new products, ultimately aiming to meet productivity and quality goals.
Requirements
- Knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, AutoCAD and/or Pro-E, Six Sigma, technical writing, MS Project and/or MS SharePoint
Responsibilities
- Creates and maintains production build documents including but not limited to work instructions, routers, and work order notes.
- Assesses production risks and issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity and quality goals and objectives.
- Recommends enhancements to work centers and processes.
- Ensures manufacturing processes are followed on projects.
- Implement and analyze manufacturing plans and projects
- Design develops and transfer manufacturing and engineering tools, strategies and systems
- Develop manufacturing strategies for specific products and processes

- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Industrial Engineering or related field
