Parker Aerospace needs to ensure reliable, efficient, and sustainable flight through innovative solutions and technologies. The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will lead a team to oversee the design implementation and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, procedures, and equipment to meet these goals.
Requirements
- Advanced technical knowledge and ability to support new product development and/or complex problems faced by junior team members
- Applies strong project management skills to daily tasks to enhance efficiencies within team and/or plant activities
- Strong ability to analyze process flows for enhancements to quality, cost reduction, and throughput
- Ability to determine engineering schedules and track completion against target dates
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers
- Is directly involved in system upgrades and technology selection.
- Leads capital budgeting process and responsible for managing capital projects and capital spending.
Responsibilities
- Oversees the planning and implementation of manufacturing processes equipment, and tooling.
- Develops and manages a portfolio of project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful completion of projects.
- Collaborates with cross-functional leadership teams, including design, quality, and supply chain, in support of manufacturing processes improvement.
- Ensures compliance with all safety regulations and company policies in the manufacturing process.
- Develops and implements strategies to drive innovation and improve manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Identifies, recommends and leads improvement plans that impact site level operations.
- Optimizes the utilization of manufacturing systems and metrics.
