Requirements
- Advanced technical knowledge and ability to support new product development and/or complex problems faced by the team
- Strong project management skills to daily tasks to enhance efficiencies within team and/or plant activities
- Proven proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook, and web-browsers
- Ability to analyze process flows for enhancements to quality, cost reduction, and throughput
- Ability to determine engineering schedules and track completion against target dates
- Strong leadership skills and ability to communicate and execute a desired vision to other employees
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task
Responsibilities
- Oversees the planning and implementation of manufacturing processes equipment, and tooling
- Develops and manages a portfolio of project plans, timelines, and budgets to ensure successful completion of projects
- Collaborates with cross-functional leadership teams, including design, quality, and supply chain, in support of manufacturing processes improvement
- Develops and implements strategies to drive innovation and improve manufacturing processes and technologies
- Optimizes the utilization of manufacturing systems and metrics
- Leads capital budgeting process and responsible for managing capital projects and capital spending
- Communicates with suppliers and/or internal customers to define product specifications and parameters
Other
- Bachelor’s Degree in related Engineering field with 5+ years of experience; Advanced degree preferred
- Previous leadership experience or equivalent experience managing and guiding teams
- Effective in ensuring team/plant achieves consistent execution of manufacturing processes while maintaining compliance with safety guidelines
