Crown Equipment Corporation is looking to minimize product cost and maximize manufacturing efficiency by developing, directing, supervising, and coordinating a knowledgeable staff in manufacturing processes.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of industrial type process/equipment that supports different types of fabrication, welding, machining, plastics, robotics, electronics, painting and assembly is recommended.
- Knowledge of SPC, Lean and Six Sigma principles are a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop, direct, supervise and coordinate a staff knowledgeable in manufacturing processes to minimize product cost and maximize manufacturing efficiency.
- Communicate and work closely with Advanced Mfg., Plant Management, Materials Manager, Quality Manager, Design Engineering, and Safety on projects and assignments.
- Provide estimates of manufacturing costs for new products, equipment, tooling and processes.
- Assign personnel to advise and evaluate processes for effects on cost, quality, throughput and capacity.
- Ability to lead project types that include: Maintaining current manufacturing processes, grow and improve process capacity and capabilities within the plant, maintain continuous improvement projects and develop capital appropriation projects.

- Responsible for coaching, motivating, mentoring, and developing direct reports to successfully take on additional responsibilities.
- 5-7 years related experience.
- Associate degree (Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical or Industrial or related experience).
- Strong leadership, good interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.
