Pratt & Whitney is seeking to transform the future of flight by designing, building, and servicing engines. The Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering Manager will support Engineering requirements within Operations, focusing on production of existing designs and implementing novel materials and approaches for manufacturing components like Anti-scatter grids and Ceramic cores for turbine airfoils. The role also involves supporting TOMO Direct Metal applications.
Requirements
- Experience in a manufacturing engineering role.
- Ceramic and metal powder experience in the production of product.
- Experience with epoxies and molding/injection molding experience.
- Familiar with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools
Responsibilities
- Develops and improves products and facilitates manufacturing operations.
- Identifying and implementing new manufacturing processes and associated equipment.
- Supplying resources for addressing real time problem resolution on the shop floor.
- Monitoring product yield and cost and driving improvements to both.
- Supporting MRL progression of all products.
- Supporting LRIP and transition from design and development phases into production phase.
- Reviewing designs, drawings, and working plans to improve products and facilitate manufacturing operations.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, business,, supply chain, or related field and 8 years of experience in engineering, supply chain or related field: or an Advanced degree with 5 years of experience.
