Bridgestone Americas, Inc. (BSAM) is seeking a Manufacturing IT Developer for their Aiken PSR plant to support continuous improvement/automation activities and manage telecom infrastructure and/or network components.
Requirements
- 5+ years experience programming database centric applications in a manufacturing environment is preferred
- Proficiency in advanced T-SQL programming
- Proficiency in .NET programming utilizing C-Sharp, VB.NET, ADO.NET, ASP.NET
- Familiarity with classic ASP and hand-held computers/scanners such as Intermec or Motorola would be a plus.
Responsibilities
- Supports continuous improvement/automation activities
- Analyzes the short-term and/or long-term network capacity needs for current and future network requirements
- Designs the network architecture and performs technical analysis of software, hardware, network systems, systems engineering for front-end processors, multiplexes, LAN/WAN communications, network nodes, switches, and various transmission systems
- Ensures compliance with Service Level Agreement (SLA) standards and protocols
- Supports relationships through strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders

- Leads projects or processes of diverse scope, while working independently with limited supervision
- Coaches and reviews the work of lower level professionals
- Demonstrated capability to seize ownership of a project and carry it from conception through post-implementation support
- Strong communication skills and a demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- BS in Computer Science or related IT discipline
