Requirements
- Hands-on experience designing and programming robotic systems
- Experience with robotics software
- Experience with Python or similar object-oriented programming language
- An understanding of underlying robotics hardware sensors, motors, microcontrollers, etc.
- Experience with computer networking
- Experience with computer vision and/or machine learning concepts
- Familiarity with electrical and RF concepts
Responsibilities
- Designing and programming robotic systems to meet production requirements
- Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with robotic systems
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement automation and robotic solutions
- Developing and implementing robotic systems that meet safety and quality standards
- Staying up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in robotics and automation
Other
- Master's degree from an accredited college in Robotics Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
- Basic electrical troubleshooting skills (multimeter use, hand soldering, and circuit testing)
- US Citizenship required for security clearance
- Ability to work onsite full-time at a designated Lockheed Martin facility
- 4x10 hour day schedule, 3 days off per week
