Requirements
- Experience in related Quality, Operations, Engineering, or related technical discipline
- Experience using Aerospace or commercial equivalent Preventative tools – APQP, PPAP, SPC, FMEA, etc.
- Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action processes
- Experience with hardware inspection techniques and interpreting engineering drawings
- Six Sigma, Lean and / or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification (CQE, CQM/OE, CSQE, CQA, CRE, etc.)
- High computer proficiency, including skills working with SAP/ PRISM and Microsoft Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
Responsibilities
- Utilize analytical capabilities and communications skills to lead rapid resolution of supplier caused issues impacting the factory, working with other quality functions and cross-functional teams.
- Represent supplier quality as the onsite interface to Raytheon factories supporting factory tier, corrective action board, FRACAS (Failure Review and Corrective Action System), and cost of poor-quality meetings.
- Analyze supplied material non-conformance data and develop action plans to address top and systemic drivers.
- Investigate issues with supplied material ensuring robust root-cause analysis and corrective solutions are fully implemented
- Identify and support continuous product / process improvements using statistical / analytical tools such as APQP and lean manufacturing methodologies
- Drive continuous improvement and leverage lessons learned from supplied material non-conformances to reduce future risk across the supply chain
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years experience
- The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
