Wolfspeed is looking to optimize wafer production from inception to completion and achieve world-class cycle times by employing a Manufacturing Technician.
Requirements
- Basic computer skills, including Excel and Outlook.
- The ability to multitask using multiple computer screens at the same time.
Responsibilities
- Operate, and routinely qualify, equipment in various semiconductor process areas such as photolithography, etch, CVD, PVD, metrology, and others.
- Perform logistic tasks such as wafer unpacking, releasing to process, and packing to be shipped.
- Maintain a presence in the Operations Command Center.
- Monitor and evaluate operating data to ensure optimized wafer movement in the fabricator.
- Work with a manufacturing execution system and multiple rep.
Other
- Ability to stand for 6 hours at a time, wear full clean room attire, and lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis.
- Work independently with minimal supervision, as well as under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- This position will work a Backend Day shift: (Thursday- Saturday and every other Wednesday, 6am - 6:15pm)
- Technicians working 12-hour shifts are eligible to receive a shift differential of up to 15%, as well as overtime and bonus eligibility.
- This role may require additional duties and/or assignments as designated by management.
